3rd Qtr Awards

Third Quarter Awards - 4th through 8th grade students were recognized for achieving A-B honor roll, principal's honor roll (all As), and a number of citizenship and community awards. We had a number of students make the honor roll - Good Job! We also had a special presentation about water conservation from our 4th and 3rd graders. Check it out! pictures

International Day
-Student council recognized a number of countries on Internation Day. We had guest speakers share the culture of their country with our students. pictures

Egg DropEgg Drop
2nd Grade Egg Drop
- Our second graders were challenged to create a contraption that would safely hold a raw egg as it was dropped from the top of the playground slide. Using STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) strategies students successfully designed containers that kept all 15 eggs from breaking. Great Job!! pictures

solar eclipsesolar eclipseSolar Eclipse - On March 20th Europe experienced a solar eclipse. We didn't get a total eclipse here in Garmisch, but our students created pinhole projectors to view this phenomenon. Cool! pictures

-Running club is up and "running." Students are enjoying the exercisie and are building enduranct, strength, and flexibility. pictures
