Missoula Theatre Workshops - During the week of rehearsals for "Red Riding Hood" the Missoula Theatre Company tour directors took time to conduct three workshops at the school. Students were engaged and learned a great deal about acting and stage make-up. pictures
Zumba and Kickboxing for Fitness! - On May 4th, guest fitness instructors, Rob Blazewick (kick boxing) and Becky Smith (Zumba) came in to help the school celebrate different types of physical fitness. Students, staff, and parents participated in a school-wide event focused on getting up and moving while having fun!- pictures
Recycling Center Study Trip - Call us strange, but when the Wertstoff recycling company invited our school to come and visit, we were excited. For Earth Day we had discussed garbage, where it went, and ways that we could help the environment. Being able to visit the plant and actually see the assembly line that separates the different types of paper, and having a student volunteer “operate” some heavy equipment, seeing metals, wood, old electronics, and old cars being readied for recycling made us more thoughtful about what and how we throw things away.- pictures
Lunch with Principal's Honor Roll Students - Students who received all A's on their report cards for third quarter were treated to lunch at Subway courtesy of Ms. Parks. While there, our students either witnessed or participated in a flash mob to promote abuse awareness. pictures
